S-Class saloons lined up on the snow, with vans behind them: this photograph, published on 13 January 2022, is part of our Alpine collection. It also illustrates a practical point. When several people travel together, coordination matters as much as the vehicle.

Start with the arrivals
Is everyone on the same flight, or arriving through different airports? Will the luggage be collected together? These details help us prepare meeting points and passenger allocation. For separate flights, send each flight reference rather than a single approximate arrival time for the group.
Count skis and luggage as well as passengers
Suitcases, ski bags and pushchairs take up space that passenger numbers alone cannot describe. An accurate list helps us consider the appropriate combination of vehicles. Child-seat requirements should also be shared in advance. The aim is to confirm a realistic arrangement before departure.
Provide the precise chalet address
A resort name is not enough to prepare the arrival. We need the accommodation, the drop-off point and, where appropriate, an authorised contact to coordinate the welcome. Weather and traffic affect winter journeys, so timings should include an appropriate margin. This 2022 photograph illustrates our experience; it is not a promise that every pictured vehicle is available on a future date.
